Product Details

This distinguished garden bench, crafted in the early 20th century embodies the iconic Arras style of French garden furniture. It features a beautiful green patina and accommodates three to four people comfortably. The bench is unmistakably from the Saint Sauveur workshops, known for their distinctive designs, including the elegant pieds sabots (hoof feet) and the flowing scroll arms, both key traits of high-quality Arras furniture.

Saint Sauveur, alongside other renowned makers like Grassin, was one of the principal manufacturers of wrought iron garden furniture in Arras, a region famous for producing pieces that are both durable and elegant. These benches, crafted from riveted wrought iron, were highly sought after by both private estates and public spaces for their timeless design and robust construction. This bench is a classic example of Saint Sauveur’s work, making it a valuable and stylish addition to any garden, terrace, or outdoor space, with a history that evokes the charm of early 20th-century French craftsmanship.
